ACRYLAN UNCO ECO
Certified, ecological, silicone acrylic, micronized transparent water-based primer. Exhibits extremely low water absorption, waterproofs surfaces, has high water vapour permeability, excellent alkali resistance, strong adhesion and due to the extremely small particle sizeit penetrates into ‘weak’ surfaces.
Ecological, silicone acrylic, water-based transparent primer, specially designed for strong adhesion and outstanding penetration into porous mineral substrates, because of its small particle size (< 0.05 μm). It is certified according to the criteria of the European Union Ecolabelling Board (EUEB). It is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It exhibits low water absorption, waterproofing characteristics, high water vapour permeability and excellent alkali resistance. It can be used as ideal undercoat for surfaces (plaster, concrete, bricks, inferior quality paints etc.) that are planned to be painted with water-based paints (emulsions, acrylics, elastomeric, relief, etc.). It is environmentally and user friendly, because does not contain ammonia or other dangerous substances, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenolethoxylates.

INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint.
APPLICATION
Stir well before use. Apply one coat by roller, brush or airless spray gun diluted up to 50% with water. For low absorbing surfaces thinning can be up to 100% with clean water, while for high absorbing surfaces it can be used without thinning. Do not apply at temperatures below 5oC, above 35oC and/or relative humidity above 80%.
It is touch-dry after 45 minutes and can be recoated after 4-6 hours with Vitex’s emulsion or acrylic paints. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). After paint application, seal the pail and store it in temperatures between 5oC and 35oC for future use.
Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent. Do not dispose of liquid waste into ground water table. Unused paint requires special handling for safe disposal. Advice regarding disposal and collection should be sought from the local authority.
